ADHD Clinics — Lowest Price First
Prices shown are for a standard adult ADHD assessment. Child assessments may differ. Always confirm the full cost (including report and follow-up) before booking.
Why do ADHD assessments cost so much?
A comprehensive ADHD assessment typically involves a 60–90 minute clinical interview with a GMC-registered psychiatrist or psychologist, collateral history gathering, validated rating scales (such as the DIVA-5 or Conners scales), and a written diagnostic report.
The cost reflects specialist clinician time, professional liability insurance, and report preparation. Be cautious of very cheap assessments (under £300) that may use non-specialist practitioners or skip the diagnostic report.
What's included in the price?
Always ask whether the quoted price includes: the diagnostic report, a feedback session, a GP letter, and any follow-up appointment. Some clinics quote a base fee then charge separately for these — making the true cost significantly higher.
